Fagir
(Korayem x *Tohfa) 1971 - 1998
Fagir was a 16hh., beautiful, grey, desert bred, straight Egyptian Arabian stallion who was imported from Germany to Canada in 1978. Before he came to Canada, he was performance tested in Germany as a 3 year old. His scores were so high, that Fagir was inspected in Canada by an expert group from the German Trakehner Association. They were so impressed by Fagir's conformation, movement and disposition that it did not take much to convince the Canadian Trakehner Horse Society to approve Fagir into the stud book. Fagir was the most successful sire of performing Trakehners in Canada. Fagir was also successfully shown at halter as a young horse on the Arabian circuit winning many titles. Fagir consistently stamped his foals with his size, beautiful movement and his very easy going attitude. We are very proud to own three of his finest daughters as the basis of our broodmare band.
